Jorge grew up in New York and Morgan grew up in Oregon. Our careers brought us to Boston where we met during a Pride Block Party in 2022, and we got married in December of 2025.

We love spending time with our friends and enjoying all that New England has to offer. Traveling, exploring new cultures, foods, and scenery is very important to us. Game nights are a staple in our social lives and Jorge is also an avid player of video games. Morgan enjoys cooking, listening to his vinyl collection, and gardening. We both enjoy reading and staying active at our gym.

Jorge is patient, thoughtful, and methodical. He is protective of his loved ones, and he constantly tends to their needs. He expresses his emotions openly, and he frequently communicates his affection to me and to his family and friends. His gentle nature brings humor and calmness to any situation.

Morgan has a way of making people feel at ease, both in our house and in his life. He has a gift for creating a welcoming and peaceful home, and he always adds quick wit and just the right amount of sass to keep his friends and loved ones on their toes. His nurturing nature and thoughtful attention to others will make him an exceptional father, and I can’t wait to see him in that role.

Our families are spread out throughout the US and in Colombia. Despite the distance, we always find time to stay connected through regular phone calls, texts, and visits. We are incredibly fortunate to have a tight-knit group of friends that we consider our chosen family here in Boston.

From early in our relationship, we knew that becoming fathers was something we both wanted. As a same-sex couple, we believe our journey has given us a strong appreciation for acceptance and loving people for exactly who they are, and those are values we hope to pass on to our child.

We both look forward to exploring new interests and hobbies with our child by supporting whatever sparks their enthusiasm and teaching them to never take themselves too seriously. We are especially eager to bring curiosity and learning to our daily routines, and to rediscover all the “firsts” that life has to offer.

We live in a three-bedroom home on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. There is a community center nearby with a pool, courts, a gym, and an outdoor playground. We love spending summer afternoons and evenings grilling out on our back patio with our friends and our dog, Dante.
