We met in college over 14 years ago. Our friendship grew into mutual attraction as we realized we had many similarities including: emphasis on our family relationships, a shared goofy and silly side, kindness, and loyalty to friends and family. We have grown together over the years and are each other’s best friend and support system

We are huge Boston sports fans (especially the Celtics!) and love watching the hometown teams if not in person, at home on the couch with our cat Mango! We like watching mystery shows and Jeopardy. Matt enjoys cooking, running, and playing the piano. Sula loves doing puzzles, crocheting, and baking.

Sula is the kindest person I know, caring, empathetic, patient, and deeply understanding.

Matt is cheerful, sensible, loyal, and intelligent. He brings joy and comfort to the people around him.

We are fortunate to have many family members who live nearby, and we are excited about raising a child surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Some of our fondest memories are of loud, joyful Christmases at our families’ homes in Massachusetts, California, and New Hampshire.

Adoption has always played a meaningful role in our lives and our families. Sula was adopted as a baby, and when she was 11 her family adopted her younger sister. Matt’s mom and some of his cousins were also adopted. We’re very excited to adopt and grow our family by bringing a child into a warm and loving home!

We are excited for everything from days at the neighborhood park to trips to national parks. Family activities like building with legos and reading bedtime stories. We look forward to helping them discover their own passions.

We live in a three bedroom condo in a neighborhood surrounded by lots of families and a strong community. We have lots of greenspace, parks and playgrounds all around us, as well as easy access to museums, the aquarium, and the zoo.
