Julia engages with expecting parents from across the country, assisting in the initial steps of creating adoption plans. Her chief responsibilities include contacting and developing relationships with all expecting birth parents and setting them up with Social Workers in our agency. She helps birth parents stay informed on their children via mediating the exchange of letters and photos from the adoptive families, managing and development of AWL social media accounts, and assisting in creating legal documentation. Julia’s attention to detail, rigid organization, and efficient communication skills help us keep the office operations running smoothly. Her favorite part of her job is that no two days are the same, cultivating a dynamic workday experience. Julia graduated from Saint Michael’s College, where she earned a dual major in Health Science (B.S.) and Public Health (B.A.), complemented by minors in Chemistry, Psychology and Health Equity. Outside of work and education, Julia loves to paint, go on runs, and spending time with her dog and her friends.
