We met on two different dating apps back in 2016. Our first date consisted of a long walk through Boston and ended in a shared plate of nachos. On this date, we talked about eventually becoming dads. We then bought our condominium together in 2018 and got married in 2022. We’ve had so many amazing experiences and adventures in our eight years together and can’t wait for many more to come!

We are both musical and creative. There’s always music playing in our house, including Tommy’s piano and flute playing (among other instruments). We both love musical theater and direct children’s musicals with over 100 students on the weekends. We have done many amazing shows including Beauty & The Beast, Mary Poppins, and SpongeBob. Tommy goes to the gym several times a week while Danny enjoys going on runs and walks around the neighborhood. We enjoy watching films together and seeing our friends on the weekends.

Tommy is quite the chatterbox and can talk to anyone. He is very curious to learn more about people and things around him. Tommy is a great planner and enjoys mapping out our traveling plans and activities. He is very caring to the people he loves and will always go the extra mile to help or support a person in need. Tommy can make anyone smile with his musical abilities.

Danny is cool, calm, and collected. He is logical and practical. Nothing ever seems to frazzle him. He is an exceptional problem-solver, and a deep thinker. He maintains beautiful relationships with his friends, many of whom have been in his life for over 25 years! He is particularly close with his family, even though they live in a different state. He demonstrates deep commitment to his work, advocating for kids with special needs (he worked in a deaf school for 8 years!)

We both have fairly large extended families. We are lucky enough to still have three living grandparents between us who are all very active in our lives. We have many aunts, uncles, and cousins who we see many times throughout the year for holidays and family functions. Tommy’s immediate family includes his parents and his younger brother who is engaged to be married to an amazing woman. Danny’s immediate family includes his parents and three (yes, three!) brothers. Danny’s older brother recently got married, finally bringing another woman into the mix for Danny’s Mom’s benefit. Our families get along super well together and have even gone on vacation together.

We can’t wait to celebrate our child and whatever interests he or she may have. We look forward to exposing our child to all kinds of activities- sports, arts, music, theater, etc. We can’t wait to read them bedtime stories, sing songs with them, take them to the park, and show them movies that we love.

We celebrate different holidays with our different families- Tommy’s family hosts a wonderful Christmas Eve while Danny’s family goes all in for Thanksgiving. We spend one week each summer on a lake in upstate New York with Danny’s family, living in a cabin, swimming, barbecuing, and going out for ice cream! It is one of our most treasured traditions. We are lucky to have so many people that we love to celebrate these fun times together. And at most (if not, all) holidays, we end up providing some musical entertainment through song and dance.

We live in a cute little town right outside of Boston that is on the ocean. We currently live in a two bedroom, two bathroom condominium right near the ocean. Our town has amazing views of the Boston skyline with many local beaches that we enjoy visiting. There is super easy access to the city where we love to go out to restaurants with friends and family.
