We met in 2021 and instantly clicked over our shared values and sense of humor. After a few cozy dates and long talks, we knew something special was happening. We got engaged on a rooftop in Rome in 2022 and had a beautiful wedding in 2023. Our relationship is built on love, teamwork, and lots of laughter.

We love being outside—whether it’s hiking, biking, or just playing in the yard. We’re also big fans of family game nights, movie nights, and making yummy meals together. Jordanna is into reading and the arts, while Nicolas enjoys doing DIY projects and running. We try to keep life fun and meaningful.

Jordanna’s warmth and kindness makes everyone around her feel seen and cared for. She has this incredible way with children – whether it’s her students, her daughters, or nieces and nephews—she connects with them in such a genuine, joyful way. She’s deeply empathetic, strong, and passionate about what she believes in. Watching her parent is inspiring; she leads with love, but also sets clear boundaries and models the values she wants to pass on. She makes our home feel safe and full of heart.

Nico is one of the most calm and steady people I’ve ever met. He has a grounded presence that brings peace to even the most chaotic moments. He’s so thoughtful—always checking in, always trying to understand and support everyone. I love how much care he puts into everything—from fixing things around the house, to coaching his team at work. He’s endlessly patient, kind, and a natural dad. I truly feel like we make a great team—we balance each other out and keep growing side by side.

Jordanna comes from a big, close-knit family and is the oldest of six. We get together often for meals, birthdays, and holidays. Nicolas’ family lives in France, but we stay close through video chats and regular visits.

After Elise was born, we hoped to grow our family again. But after a long and emotional journey through pregnancy loss and fertility challenges, we knew it was time to take a different path.

Though the road was painful, our desire to share our love never changed. We still feel so much joy, warmth, and support to give—and adoption feels like the path we were always meant to take. We’re ready to welcome a child with open hearts, a loving home, and a lifetime of care.

Holidays in our home are all about being together—sharing meals, laughter, and traditions with family. Whether it’s decorating for Christmas or cooking together on Thanksgiving, we cherish creating special memories with the people we love.
