Our first date lasted over 8 hours. We spent the entire time talking and knew that we would never run out of things to talk about. Our wedding was surrounded by holiday lights, which is one of our favorite things to look at. We can’t wait to share that love with our future child.

Luke loves to cook and is a huge reader. Joe loves to discover new technologies and loves classic American cars.

Together we love to try new restaurants, travel to see new states (we have a goal to see all 50 states before we’re 50!), work on projects in our home, and most of all we love to see our friends and family whenever we can.

Luke: “Joe is incredibly intelligent, warm, kind-hearted, and family oriented. He’s the kind of person you trust the minute you meet him. He’s supportive but also challenges me to be my best. He’s honest and seeks out the good in every person he meets.”

Joe: “Luke is the most emotionally in-tune, altruistic, and giving person. Anyone who meets Luke is instantly friends with him. He has perfected the balance of letting ‘me be me’ and pushing me to grow. He will always advocate for what’s right in every situation.”

We are both really close to our families. Luke has two parents in Connecticut and a sister in New York. He has cousins spread throughout the entire US who travel to see each other whenever they can.

Joe has a mom and brother about 10 minutes from where we live. He also has a lot of cousins who live in the immediate area. He grew up with all his cousins around him, which is why we decided to raise children near his family.

We look forward to showing our child as much of this world as possible! Luke would love to be able to take his child to the same summer camp that he went to when he was a kid, and Joe wants to share his love for his family cookouts!

We are so excited to host holiday gatherings with both families present so our child can feel the loving effect of all the familial support around them.

We live on a quiet street with lots of other couples who currently have young kids and some babies! Down the street is a nature preserve with walking trails. We have over an acre of land with a big backyard. We love spending as much time at home as possible and enjoying how peaceful it is.
