Joe is one of the most loving people I’ve ever met. The way he dedicates himself to those in his life is truly admirable and shows how much he cares. He is also incredibly dedicated and hardworking. When we first met, I was immediately drawn to his work ethic and his passion and drive to always improve.

What I love most about Mike is his loyalty. His love language is “acts of kindness” and one thing he loves to do is cook for loved ones. He’s so joyful and focused when he’s in the kitchen and it brings me true happiness. He’s also extremely dedicated. Watching Mike build such an amazing career without compromising any personal relationships has been amazing.

Joe’s family all live within close proximity of our house. His mom and step-dad have a house on the water and his dad and step-mom live in a nearby city. He has a younger brother in marketing and a younger sister who is in college. They both love spending time at the house and taking part in fun adventures.

Mike comes from a tight-knit family with a mom, dad and younger brother. Mike’s parents have retired to Florida and live the snowbird life of traveling back and forth between the cold of Massachusetts and the heat of Florida. Mike and his brother are very close and can find a way to laugh and joke about anything.

We both firmly believe that friends are considered family. We have a great network of friends from our hometowns, from college and from work. We are so lucky to have these incredible people in our lives and believe that they are just as much a part of our family as anyone.

We know all of these amazing people in our life can’t wait to meet our future child.

We have both always wanted to start a family and came across Adoptions with Love after numerous recommendations from friends and coworkers. We want nothing more than to welcome a child into our home and provide them with so much love and support to help them achieve all of their dreams.

Joe is looking forward to many things as a new parent but what he’s most looking forward to watching his child reach those amazing milestones. Whether it’s holding their head up, crawling, walking or riding a bike he can’t wait to be there (and probably get emotional). He can’t wait to create special childhood memories with his kid going to parks, zoos and aquariums.

For Mike, he can’t wait to read bedtime stories each night to his child. He’s known as “the book guy” to all of his friends with children and wants to make those bedtime moments magical. He also can’t wait to teach his kid Spanish and to have a little helper in the kitchen to make some delicious meals.

In our household, we celebrate everything! We dress up for Halloween, have a huge feast with friends and family on Thanksgiving, host Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and decorate for everything. In the summer, you can find us in the backyard hosting a cookout and when it’s someone’s birthday we always go all out with the best cakes.
