We met through family/friends.  While dating, Frank lived in Massachusetts and Sonia lived in New Jersey and we regularly traveled to see each other.  We spent a lot of time speaking on the phone/Face Timing each other which allowed us to get to know each other and appreciate the time when we were together.

We love to travel, especially to Portugal, as it feels like home away from home for us.  On weekends, we explore places of interest around the Northeast.  We enjoy cooking and have dinner together on a regular basis.  Frank enjoys wine making, woodworking and doing renovations around the house.  Sonia enjoys being outside, especially spending time at the beach, going on long walks and going on hikes.

Frank is a results-driven handyman around the house.  He takes the time to understand a problem and come up with solutions.  He takes on home projects and helps our parents with anything in the house that needs fixing.

Sonia is very conscientious and kind.  She is passionate with what she puts her mind to and is always looking to the future and planning ahead.

We each have one brother and together have 4 nieces.  We enjoy being part of their lives by celebrating birthdays, holiday and many other special moments in life together.  Our parents live in New Jersey and Massachusetts and we visit them regularly.  Our extended family also includes our 5 godchildren and many cousins.

We have decided to expand our family as we have so much unconditional love to give and want to offer a loving, safe and stable home for a child.  We have chosen adoption as the path to grow our family.

We look forward to traveling with our child so they can explore the world!  We would take them to places such as the beaches in New Jersey, the White Mountains, Cape Cod, Disney and Portugal.  We can’t wait for them to pick their Halloween costume and go Trick or Treating.  We also look forward to seeing them experience our town Holiday parade.

Holidays are always fun with our family and nieces.  We enjoy gathering around the table and counting desserts as they always outnumber the people at the table!  On Christmas Eve we also enjoy the countdown to midnight to open presents.

Our town also has a good school system, farmer’s markets and many open and green spaces for children to play.  We live in an area with great hospitals, shopping, and many other resources.  And our home is near multiple beaches!
