Meet Colleen and Phil...

    • About Us:

      Hello! We’re Colleen and Phil. We met freshman year through a mutual friend (who was the college mascot). Our zest for life and commitment to family and friends drew us together. We became friends and started dating our senior year. Now, we’ve been married for 12 years.

      Our marriage has been filled with adventure. After our wedding, we moved to London, England. We traveled, made great friends, and tried new foods before returning to NYC.

      In 2020, we made Massachusetts home with our dog, Lincoln. Colleen founded an education consulting company with the mission of teaching children how to read. Phil works as a Senior Director of Accounting for a software company.

      We value integrity, kindness, hard work, showing up for family and friends, and embracing all that life offers.

    • Our Hobbies:

      We enjoy quality time with family, friends, and our pup, Lincoln, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and traveling (we’ve been to 30+ countries and are working our way through all 50 states). Phil enjoys golf, running, reading, and playing the piano. Colleen loves practicing yoga, pilates, reading, and walking in nature. Together, we cook, listen to music, and explore.

    • Qualities We See in Each Other:

      Phil is someone you always want by your side. He’s optimistic and trusting. He is steady, thoughtful, loyal, and, above all, kind.

      Colleen has a rare spark for life, bringing passion to all she does and a strong commitment and loyalty to those she loves.

    • Our Extended Family:

      Our child will be cherished not only by us but by plenty of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who are like family along the East Coast. We live close to Colleen’s parents, who are thrilled to welcome another grandchild.

    • Special Activities We Look Forward to Doing with Our Child:

      We can’t wait to share our love with our child, bring them joy, and open their eyes to all the awe and wonder around them. We look forward to adventures near our home, like heading into Boston to a museum or show, pumpkin picking in the fall, heading to the beach in our Jeep, and skiing in the winter. We also hope to share our passion for travel and all that it offers!

    • Holiday Gatherings:

      We love a holiday celebration! We host Thanksgiving with both sets of parents, enjoying the parade in the morning and lots of delicious food throughout the day. In December, decorating our Christmas tree is always a special day. The 4th of July is celebrated with fireworks viewed from our deck. Come August, we head to upstate New York for Phil’s family’s annual reunion, with over 30 aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren who love board games, sports, and sharing stories.

    • Our Home & Neighborhood:

      Our home is a peaceful sanctuary on a bay, where we enjoy Mother Nature. We often see seals, deer, rabbits, shore birds, and, sometimes, whales from our windows. There is plenty of room to play inside and out, with space just waiting for toys.

      We have a deck overlooking the water where we host cookouts and celebrations. A beach, elementary school, playground, and walking trails are all just 1-2 miles away.
