Meet Chris and Melissa...

    • About Us:

      Hello, we are Melissa, Chris, and Gus! Chris is the head of I.T. at a private high school and Melissa is a stay-at-home mom with three year old Gus. We were introduced by mutual friends almost thirteen years ago, and knew we were meant for each other. We are looking forward to celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary. We became a family of three when we welcomed our son Gus through adoption. Becoming parents has been the greatest adventure and we have so much more love to give another child! Our Christian faith is important to us and we look forward to continuing to pass on this faith to our children.

    • Our Hobbies:

      We love spending time as a family and enjoy exploring nature, being creative, and going to the theater and concerts. We especially love hiking, the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

      A lover of the ocean, Chris enjoys swimming, boating, and spending time at the beach. Some of Chris’ favorite hobbies include reading, playing guitar, and being outside. Melissa has always loved arts and crafts and being creative. Melissa’s other hobbies include reading, being in nature, working with children, cooking, and baking. Gus is a happy and friendly boy who enjoys playing outside and especially with our dog Mack. Gus has a calm personality and we know he will be a great big brother!

    • Our Home & Neighborhood:

      Our home is on a quiet street with young children and in a small town with many families. We are fortunate to live close to friends and family.

    • Our Extended Family:

      We both grew up embraced in close families with loving, supportive parents and siblings.

      Our families love getting together and often find ourselves gathered around the table for a meal. We love celebrating holidays with family. We are also fortunate to have many friends who have become family over the years and are grateful to be raising our children together.
