Together we love to travel, try new restaurants, hike, and spend time with family and friends. We also both enjoy waterskiing and hosting game nights. Brian also loves to fish and be out on the boat. Emily loves to bake and curl up with a good book.

Emily is one of the most outgoing, fun loving, and caring people I have ever met. She always has the biggest smile when she is surrounded by her nieces and nephews. She has a huge heart ready to share it with everyone around her.

Brian is loving, easy going, and dedicated. He also has a goofy side and always has me laughing. He is an amazing husband and has been my rock throughout our marriage. It always makes my heart happy seeing him play with our nieces and nephews. I can’t wait to watch him be a dad one day. 

We both have a pretty large extended family! Our parents each have many siblings and most of them have children-which means lots of cousins! 

Most of our family live close by so we are lucky to be able to see them frequently. Brian has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Emily has 1 sister and 1 brother. We are both close with our immediate and extended families which makes holidays a lot of fun!

After struggling with infertility and a not so fun IVF journey we decided to look into the adoption route. It didn’t take long to realize this was the path we wanted to take. We have so much love to give and can’t wait to grow our family.

We can’t wait to introduce our child to our traditions. From getting a fresh Christmas tree every year to carving pumpkins on Halloween. We also look forward to making new traditions with our child! 

Another thing we can’t wait to do with our child is travel. There are so many places we have explored and we want to share these experiences with him or her. Exploring new places is also a must! 

We also can’t wait to watch our children play with all of our cousins, nieces, and nephews at all the family events. 

Our holiday gatherings are a blast! We both come from big families so we often bounce between the two sides on holidays. There’s always lots of people and even more food! We love doing different activities on holidays from yankee swaps to Easter egg hunts. We’re so excited to share these experiences with our child one day!

We built our forever home a few years ago on a plot of land with a big fenced in backyard. We chose an open floor plan with four bedrooms in hopes of one day filling them with 2 or 3 children. 

Our house is in on a quiet street and close to a state park. We are lucky to have built close relationships to our neighbors. Our neighborhood is full of families with children who are often outside playing!
