We met on a dating app in 2019 when Jamie moved to Boston. On our first date we walked The Boston Common for hours, talking, laughing, and never wanting our time together to end. We got engaged at the end of 2020 and married in early 2022.

We enjoy watching Bruins hockey, taking trips to arcades, hiking, hosting, and spending time with loved ones. Jamie loves to run, read, cook and bake, and make soap, candles, and other crafts. Aaron enjoys golfing, bowling, playing pickleball, and watching New England sports.

Jamie on Aaron: Aaron is sweet, witty, and the right amount of goofy. He always makes me laugh. He is kind, patient, and loving. His sweet disposition shows me that he will be a great dad to our children.

Aaron on Jamie: Jamie is kind, intelligent, compassionate, fiercely loyal, and the most selfless person I know. I’m blessed to have her as my partner in life, and I know she will be a wonderful mom to our children.

Family is extremely important to us. We are blessed that our parents have become good friends, and that we often spend holidays/special occasions together with both of our families. We have an amazing support system. Aaron’s parents and many friends are close by. Aaron’s brother and remaining family are in New York. Jamie’s family all live in the Midwest. We visit frequently, and they travel to us as well. Our family is ecstatic that we are adding to our family through adoption.

Adoption has always been something we’ve considered for our family. We were not been able to have biological children due to fertility issues, but we are ready and excited to grow our family.

We both look forward to continuing family traditions and starting traditions of our own. Jamie is excited to read, get creative, and have themed family movie nights with our children. Aaron is looking forward to watching/teaching sports, carrying our children on his shoulders, and telling them bedtime stories.

We have called our apartment home for over four years. We have lovely neighbors, are located right across the street from the beach, and are close to parks, schools, Aaron’s parents, and countless friends. We also live near the train, which makes trips into the city a breeze. Once our family grows, we will look to upsize to a home closer to Aaron’s hometown.
