Amy has been working at AWL since 1986 and she became the Executive Director in October 2001. Amy’s responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and formulating and implementing plans for AWL’s future. Amy works extensively with all members of the adoption triad, conducting home studies, counseling expectant/birth parents, providing post-placement services, facilitating groups and assisting with search and reunions. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. Amy is married and has two young adult, married children, and four grandsons. Every day is a new adventure in the world of adoption. Amy feels privileged to work with and help all people touched by adoption.
