We met in 2017 and dated for four years before getting married in 2021. When we first met, we learned that we both had the same job as teenagers, grew up doing community theater, and initially worked in the same industry as professionals.

Traveling is our favorite hobby; we recently went to Europe where we visited Spain, Ireland, and Italy. We also enjoy the performing arts, staying physically fit, and working in our garden. Board games are taken very seriously in our relationship and often have competitive game nights with friends and family.

Steve: Alex is the most charismatic, accomplished individual Steve has ever met. Alex’s drive is unmatched, and his advice is always spot on. Alex is so patient, intelligent, and is truly selfless. He makes Steve a better person.

Alex: Steve is extremely passionate and goal oriented. He has an incredible sense of humor and an even more infectious laugh. I know Steve is going to excel as a father and I can’t wait to watch as he helps our child grow into the person they want to be.

Combined, we have a huge family and see them often. Whether we’re celebrating a milestone or going to the lake house, we take every opportunity possible to see our loved ones. Between both families, we have 16 cousins, with many of them having their own children ages 10 to newly born twins!

Our biggest shared dream is to become fathers one day. Early in our relationship, we discussed adoption being our pathway to parenthood and we cannot wait to grow our family in the near future.

Alex can’t wait to teach our child how to cook and to throw a mean curveball. Steve is eager for story time (complete with character voices) and afternoons spent at the park or in the pool. No matter what activity our child wants to do, we cannot wait to do it together!

The holidays are huge in our family and we make it a point to always see both sides for each one. Christmas is infamous for matching pajama sets and a 34 person Yankee Swap, while July 4^th is always spent at the lake house with the jet skis and fireworks.

We purchased our home in 2020 and live in a great neighborhood with all kinds of families. Our house has three bedrooms, a finished basement, and an aboveground pool. The school systems in our town are fantastic and there are many playgrounds and hiking paths to take advantage of.
