As a family, we love spending time outdoors, going to the beach, and playing games. Pulling out a game like Candy Land, Connect 4 or Mancala is a fun way for us to spend an evening together. Being active, Brady loves to splash and swim in a pool. He also will run like crazy, chasing a soccer ball to try to score a goal! Stephen loves walking along the river and shooting hoops. Cara spends her free time reading mystery novels or running. She’s completed countless 5Ks, two half-marathons and took part in a 100-mile relay!

There are always aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents around! Christmas is a big holiday in our family, and we spend lots of time with family beforehand going to see Christmas lights, as well as on both Christmas Eve & Day. Birthdays are always a special day to celebrate the person – and always require cake! We also love to get together when the weather is nice for a cookout. With our family, we can always find reasons to celebrate!

From the day we met, we knew we wanted a big family. After many years of infertility treatments, we welcomed Brady; we were told we would be unable to have any more children of our own, and knew adoption was our path to build our family.

Brady is so eager & excited to be a big brother! He can’t wait to play with his brother or sister on the beach during our annual Labor Day vacation. We can’t wait to welcome a new “team member” into our sports-mania family! During football season, we love to get together with family & friends to root for our favorite teams while enjoying good, fun food! We also look forward having another child join our living room dance parties!
