We met by chance over 20 years ago when we were both living in California. We made an instant connection and decided to meet up for lunch. After talking for hours, late into the night, we realized how much we had in common and we have been inseparable ever since. We’ve built a life we love, we’ve built businesses together and we’re so excited to build a family.

We like to consider ourselves adventurists and explorers. We love to just jump in the car, find a trail and see where it takes us. We’re both very athletic and love spending our spare time hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and exploring the city around us. Food is a passion of ours and we enjoy trying different cuisines. We look forward to sharing that with our children.

Oz is one of the most passionate, caring, authentic and inspirational people I know. He inspires everyone around him to be the best every day. He’s extremely dedicated to his family and his work, that’s what makes him successful. I know he will be the best father because he loves to spend quality time with those he loves, he makes everyone laugh, and he’s always looking to have fun.

Stefanie is loving, compassionate and caring. She grew up riding horses and loves animals of all kinds. She hopes to pass that along to our children. She is extremely attentive to those closest to her and I know she will be the best mother. She has so much love to give a child and I see it every day in her care and love for family, nature, and the world around us.

We’ve always known we wanted to expand our family through adoption. We had planned to try for a biological child first and then adopt, but after many years of failed fertility treatments we realized that adoption was our fate. We believe this was our path all along and we are excited to begin this next adventure!

We live in one of the most beautiful and diverse cities in the world surrounded by culture, theater, parks, the best schools and access to the best the area has to offer. We enjoy spending time outdoors all year around, and we look forward to sharing our love of the city and nature with our children.
