We were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, connected instantly with our common interests and tied the knot four years later.  We have been happily married for three years.

Together we enjoy skiing, golfing, and enjoying meals together. You can frequently find us outside playing ball with our dog Mackinley and visiting with neighbors.

Megan loves shopping, walking, the theater, and relaxing on the beach. She celebrates each change of season by decorating our house, sending cards to loved ones with matching confetti and dressing up for her students.

Mike is an incredible chef who is always looking for new recipes. He loves to work around our property creating the best possible home for his family.

Megan: Mike is loyal and caring. He is quick to lend a hand, uses kind words to everyone. He is hardworking, extremely organized and likes to have a plan.

Mike: Megan is thoughtful and generous, preferring to give to others rather than to receive.  She is extremely patient, reliable and helpful to anyone in need. She is empathetic and always wants the best for everyone.

We are lucky enough to have some of our family close to us, we enjoy our weekly visits and dinners with them. Those that live out of state, we stay connected by phone calls and Facetime. We are blessed to have three godchildren all of whom we engage in their regular extracurricular activities. Most of our friends, who have become our extended family, have children whom we value spending time with.

We spent over two years trying to start a family, in conjunction with many infertility treatments that were unsuccessful. We knew that adoption was the next chapter in our book to finally become parents to make our family complete.

Snuggling, hugging and kissing! We can’t wait to hold our child in our arms in Grandma’s rocker, reading bedtime stories. We are excited to stand in front of the Christmas tree with our family all wearing matching jammies. Whether it be teaching him/her ice skating and skiing on a chilly winter day or swimming and surfing in the summer, we are excited to experience these special moments together.

We enjoy formal sit-down holiday dinners with delicious homemade food at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter with our families. We will continue the traditions from both sides of our families and create new ones with our child.

Our home is located in a country setting, within a vibrant neighborhood that values family and community. You never know what welcomes you at our outdoor patio and backyard; children climbing on the play structure, a barbeque, a fire, or a quick game of ball.

In the Summer, our home extends to a cozy beach house where we build sand castles and walk the beach searching for treasures.

We can’t wait to fill both of our homes with the love and laughter of a child!
