Kelly is obsessed with Liverpool soccer, plays video games, and loves to cook and BBQ. Kristina is often buried in a book, volunteers for a nonprofit, and loves spending time with their niece and nephew.

Our families each live within a half hour of our home. We are always getting together for BBQs, pool parties at Kristina’s parent’s house, and showing up for all the niece/nephew activities like dance recitals and football games. Both of our families are thrilled to welcome a child into our lives.

We also consider our closest friends as our chosen family. We are lucky to have a tight-knit group of friends who are equally excited for us to grow and be supported by our community.

We talked about having kids on our very first date, so it didn’t take long to decide to try having a baby. We were both diagnosed with infertility and proceeded with IVF but experienced several losses as a result. In deciding to close that chapter, it opened our hearts to explore a different path to parenthood. We are stronger and more well-equipped to be parents because of our experiences and we feel that adoption was always meant to be our path forward.

Kelly and Kristina host Thanksgiving each year and we can’t wait to share this with our child. It’s the best opportunity for togetherness with a focus on gratitude and eating amazing food! Filling our home with 25+ family members is just so joyous.

Our home is filled with color, warmth, art, and décor that simply makes us happy. We have a large backyard for running around, only 5 minutes from town center with a library and playground, and a number of family members who are just 5-10 minutes away.
