Meet Josh and Daigle...

    • About Us:

      We met in 2017 while walking in the Boston pride parade. We connected over being veterans and our love for the outdoors. We flew out to San Francisco and got married in 2019. Daigle works for the VA and Josh is currently finishing up his bachelor’s in psychology at a local college while being a proud stay at home dad. We live in a suburb south of Boston.

    • Our Hobbies:

      We love to travel as a family. We are avid board game players and we dabble in metal detecting and love a good antique or flea market in the summer months. Our dogs love lakes and the beach. Avalyn would love to visit every farm, zoo or park within 100 miles of our house.

    • Qualities We See in Each Other:

      Joshua is a nurturer. He truly is the guy I wish I could be. He has so much love to give and that’s what I adore about him. His love and patience he shows our daughter and dogs makes me so happy. He is the best dad.

      Daigle is passionate. His drive to better himself and the ones he surrounds himself with is infectious. He is a leader with drive that keeps our family going. He takes time to truly teach our daughter things, and that makes me so incredibly happy!

    • Our Extended Family:

      Joshua has 5 brothers and 1 sister. He is incredibly close to his cousins who also have several children. Daigle’s mother has been welcomed into our huge family with open arms. We are a large, fun family who loves to get together!

    • Our Adoption Story:

      We talked about adoption early on in our relationship. It was something we both always wanted to do. We have an incredible open adoption with Avalyns birth parents. We are excited to become fathers yet again through adoption.

    • Special Activities We Look Forward to Doing with Our Child:

      The pandemic has made us appreciate traveling in the USA until we can once again travel the world together as a family. We bought a world map and mark off areas of the world we travel to as a family. Camping and staying at cabins will be a thing we do as much as we can with our kids and fur babies. Disney World is already being planned as a family vacation.

    • Holiday Gatherings:

      Our extended family gets together every Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Daigle’s mother always joins in on the festivities! We love Halloween, we are excited to dress up with our kids around the neighborhood in search for candy.

    • Our Home and Neighborhood:

      We had our home built for us in 2021. Our community has a pool, two playgrounds, a community fire pit with food trucks that are parked daily with awesome recipes to try. We have three lakes, one for swimming and the other two which are dog friendly and great for fishing and using our canoe. It truly is a great place for our family.
