Jared loves to spend time outdoors, swim, fish, and relax on the beach. Anthony loves cooking and hosting parties. We both love to travel. Most recently we have traveled to St. Lucia and the Bahamas. We love spending the summer on the beach enjoying the sun and waves.

Jared: From the first date, I was attracted to Anthony’s sense of humor and hard work ethic. He always puts family first. Anthony has a big heart and is going to make an amazing father.

Anthony: Jared is kind, generous, and compassionate. His work as a pediatric ICU nurse gives back to the community and families that he comes into contact with every day. He is hard working and I have watched as he went back to school to get his master’s degree in nursing to better provide care to the pediatric population. Jared is dedicated, has an immense love for family and friendships, and will be an amazing Dad!

We are lucky to be surrounded by a warm, loving family. Both of us come from families with parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Family is very important to us. We love to spend time together. Both of our families cannot wait to welcome a baby.

Even from the beginning of our relationship, we shared the common interest to become parents. We feel as a same-sex couple that adoption is the perfect fit for us! We will open our heart and home to our future baby and provide a supportive, caring, loving space for our child to grow and flourish.

We cannot wait to take our child on vacations, especially to Disney World. We look forward to spending time at the beach building sandcastles, reading goodnight stories and giving goodnight kisses, and witnessing the milestones of our child learning to crawl, taking their first steps, and even saying their first words.

Christmas is a special time of year – decorating the tree, baking cookies, or even decorating the house. Halloween is usually hosted at our home with our extended families. We celebrate birthdays, 4^th of July, and many other occasions.
