We both love to be outdoors, enjoying hiking, kayaking, and boating around the local marshes with our friends and their kids. Music is also a passion of ours. We have a record player at home and attend a lot of fun local concerts. We love to travel, most recently going to Spain and Puerto Rico. Addy teaches yoga and loves to draw and Reed enjoys grabbing a rod and reel and catching some fish.

“Reed’s first priority in life is his family, whether he is helping his mom, taking his dad out to lunch, chatting with his sister, or canceling plans to stay home with me. He is an incredible godfather to his sister’s two kids, always thinking of some silly new game or a fun adventure.” – Addy

Reed’s parents live in their family home where Reed grew up 5 minutes down the road. They are very excited about our adoption journey and can’t wait to be a part of it. Reed’s older sister, Tori, and her husband, John, live close by with their two children, Molly and Johnny. They’re very excited to meet their future cousin.

Addy’s parents live in Florida and spend half of the year in massachusetts. They have been patiently waiting to be grandparents and are beyond excited to meet their grandchild. Addy’s sister lives close by with her husband, who are also in the process of starting their family. Addy’s brother lives in California with his girlfriend and visits home often.

Reed grew up going to his family’s summer cottage where he has a large network of friends that are more family. We can’t wait to share this place we both love so much with a child and see them running around with the growing group of kids. We both love to be outdoors, whether it’s a simple walk at our local nature preserve, or planning a trip to a national park. We can’t wait to see our kid explore, finding wonders in things both big and small.

For Christmas, we gather at our parent’s houses, sharing traditions with each. Addy’s family loves to cook a big dinner, often making raviolis in the kitchen. Reed’s family has a long tradition of a treasure hunt and his mom loves playing Santa for her two grandkids. Reed’s extended family gets together at his parent’s for Thanksgiving, where there seems to be a new little cousin every year. All of them cannot wait to share these traditions and create new ones.

Addy and Reed live in a single family home in a safe and quiet rural neighborhood North of Boston. It is close to multiple local parks, hiking trails, and the beach and has some of the best schools and hospitals nearby.
