As Adoptions With Love has grown, so have the children who were placed – some are now adults over 25 years old.
Adoptions With Love doesn’t consider the adoption over at time of placement, it is just the beginning of a lifelong bond to over 1,600 children and their families.
At different times in a child’s life they may ask questions about their birthparents, want to know more of their story, may need more in-depth medical history, or as they age, may decide they want to find their birthmother and/or birthfather. Adoptions With Love is ready to help.
Several years ago, the AWL board of directors formed a Search and Reunion Committee to assist children and families as they seek more information. We offer counseling and search services and can help you navigate through this process.
If you would like more information about Search and Reunion, please contact Amy Cohen (email link) or Nancy Rosenhaus and we will be happy to arrange a time to meet or talk with you.
